Sol Cresta takes the docking and formation methods of classic shooting game Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and elevates them with an innovative “free-form docking” technique. The most famous Yamato is comprised of the ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano are able to utilize different types of attack depending on how three of the ships are aligned. The secret to defeating Mandler’s army of invaders is docking the ships, separating them and reforming them.
